• We recruit volunteers for a wide variety of organisations in the Maidstone area

• We offer information, advice and support to anyone interested in volunteering   in a friendly and timely way

• This can be via the internet, email, telephone, post or by visiting us

• We will help you to find voluntary work which you will find enjoyable and   fulfilling    

• We operate in accordance with our equal opportunites policy

• We will follow up to answer questions or help with any probelms

Organisations

• We offer FREE advice, information and support on all aspects of volunteering to local organisations in the public, private, voluntary and community sector
  
  
• We run a brokerage service that can assist eligable organisations to recruit volunteers and provide information and training on how to retain them

The Kent eVent Team is a partnership between Kent County Council and the voluntary sector in Kent, aimed at aimed at recruiting volunteers for events and one-off sport, leisure and cultural activities across the county, including the build up to the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in London.  You can find out more on their website by clicking here.
